1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Simulyn ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Simulyn is a free mock API generator that allows developers to create instant, shareable REST API endpoints from JSON schemas or Faker.js templates. The Service generates realistic mock data and provides live, accessible URLs for use in frontend development, prototyping, and API testing workflows — without requiring any backend infrastructure.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account.

You must not share your account credentials with any third party.
You must notify us immediately at hello@simulyn.dev of any unauthorized use of your account.
Each user account is identified by a unique, permanent namespace that prefixes all your mock endpoints.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Simulyn to:

Generate, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content in schemas or templates.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or related systems.
Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or its infrastructure.
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
Abuse API endpoint quotas or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
Use the Service as production infrastructure — Simulyn is designed for development and testing only.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Simulyn and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any schemas or templates you create, but grant Simulyn a limited license to store and process them for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Beta Service

Simulyn is currently in public beta. The Service is provided free of charge during this period. We reserve the right to introduce pricing, modify features, or change usage limits at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes via email or in-app notification.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease and all your mock endpoints will be deactivated.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. Simulyn does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for production use. Mock API endpoints are intended for development and testing purposes only.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simulyn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
